Hi there, I’m Stacy
I have lived in the Northwest my whole life and was raised on farm near Mt Hood. I grew up gardening. My mom took me to seed store and gave me free reign. My hobbies are gardening, canning, and fermenting. My family enjoys all things outdoors: hunting, horseback riding, and bird watching. I home-school my kids and am pursuing my masters in Classical Studies.
Bio
I have been homeschooling my three children with the classical method for the past eleven years, while also tutoring small groups in writing, grammar, and phonics. Additionally, I have been a teacher for Help Elevate Learning Processes (formerly Help Eliminate Learning Problems) working with children and adults to treat learning problems and processing weaknesses. In my life before children I worked for Pearson Higher Education Publishing as a Sales Specialist and district manager for the northwest region. In this role I supported local reps and professors by helping them access the ancillary tools and online materials available to them. Reading, learning, and teaching have always been at the top on my list of favorite things to do!
